Message of The Honourable Lutchmanah Raj Pentiah

 

​It is with immense honour and privilege that I address you a few words in my capacity as Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, following my appointment on the 22nd of November 2024.

I extend my deepest gratitude to the Prime Minister, Dr. The Honourable Navinchandra RAMGOOLAM, GCSK, FRCP, for trusting me with this significant portfolio. The public service is the backbone of our nation, shaping the daily lives of our citizens and driving our progress. This is a responsibility I undertake with unwavering commitment and a clear vision for the future.

The public sector plays a pivotal role in fostering a prosperous, fair, and efficient Mauritius. My mission is to ensure that this role continues to evolve through enhanced transparency, modernization, and collaboration. Together, we will strive for even greater excellence in serving the people, building trust, and creating a more responsive and efficient government.

As a legal professional, I bring with me years of experience in upholding justice, fairness, and ethical practices. These values will guide me as I work towards refining our administrative frameworks and policies, ensuring that they remain inclusive and people-centric.

I am committed to fostering an environment where every voice matters and every concern is heard.
