The Awards Ceremony of the Excellent Customer Service Award and Outstanding Achievement Award in the Public Service - 2004 was held in the distinguished presence of the Hon. Prime Minister in Sir Harilal Vaghjee Hall on Thursday 11 November 2004 at 14 00 hrs.
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD
The Excellent Customer Service Award, which aims at recognizing the achievement of Ministries/Departments in providing effective customer service and to enhance the promotion of a quality culture and a customer-oriented approach in the Public Service.
Thirty two Ministries/Departments have participated in the 2004 Award and following site assessment and interview visits and public voting for the Best Public Image, the Grand Jury has selected the following winners as announced at the Awards Ceremony:
