The Employment Relations and Uniforms Unit 

 

Activities:                                        

  • Promote sound and harmonious employment relations in the civil service.
  • Advise on employment relations matter.
  • Provide conciliation service on existing/apprehended labour dispute reported to the Conciliation Service of the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Reforms.
  • Organise conciliatory meetings.
  • Process court cases.
  • Attend Supreme court/Employment Relations Tribunal and the Commission for Conciliation and Mediation.
  • Process representations from Federations of Civil Service Unions/Unions/Individual Officers.
  • Organise regular meetings with Federations of Civil Service Unions and other recognized Unions.
  • Advise on entitlement of uniforms and protective clothing/equipment.
  • Process requests for uniforms and protective clothing/equipment and organise meetings of Standing Committee on Uniforms/Protective Clothing/Equipment.
