The Human Resource Planning Unit 

 

Activities:                                        

  • Examining Human Resource Proposals of Ministries/Departments and the Rodrigues Regional Assembly in the context of yearly Budgetary Exercise;
  • Preparing the Civil Establishment Order and the Civil Establishment (Rodrigues Regional Assembly) Order after approval of the Budget by the National Assembly;
  • Fostering dialogue and harmonious relationship with a view to settling representations and apprehended labour disputes to the satisfaction of all parties;
  • Provide appropriate information with regards to requests for the grant of uniforms and personal protective clothing/equipment;
  • Providing updated monthly status of the number of funded vacancies filled in the context of the yearly Budgetary Exercise;
  • Providing updated monthly status of the complaints/general enquiries/suggestions received by the Ministry through the Citizen Support Portal; and
  • Providing, upon request, assistance to Ministries/Departments for the conduct of Manpower Assessment Exercise.
